Rachel Heery reported that:
> The National Library of Australia hosted the recent 4th Dublin Core
> Workshop in Canberra and four UK representatives attended, sponsored by
> eLib.
A brief outline of the main achievements and actions of the was
workshop was given.
I appreciate the information, and was keen to read it. But I wonder
if I am alone in finding my lack of technical vocabulary a handicap?
I am a "Content Specialist" (I guess, but it isn't a term I am
familiar with), and have my own understanding
of why the Dublin Core and its descendants will be important to the
work I am doing. But I found few concessions to my relative ignorance
in the report or the associated web pages.
If I am not alone, would anyone else join me in asking for some
guidance on interpreting the report? - a reference to a more basic text or
an introductory piece somewhere else might do the trick.
Many thanks
Sam Saunders
