The Performing Arts Data Service (PADS), a Service Provider of the
Arts & Humanities Data Service (AHDS), has been established to
provide the UK Higher Education community with access to networked
digital research data in the performing arts (music, film, theatre,
broadcast arts, dance).
PADS is seeking two individuals to help develop and run the service:
* Collections Co-ordinator: with responsibility for catalogue and
standards development and accessioning digital research materials
* Systems Co-ordinator: with responsibility for developing PADS's
database systems
Both these posts demand a mix of skills and experience in the
performing arts with information technology, standards development,
data management or cataloguing. As well as the particular areas of
responsibility above, both individuals will generally contribute to
the development and operation of the PADS and will be part of a
close-knit team, reporting to the Project Manager.
