Huh. And I'd just persuaded Wired UK to run a piece (a) closely
arguing the case that librarians are real cool and (b) inciting
support for the bid... but the mag was due to announce this
morning it was closing. (Lorcan et al; that's why I didn't sign
up as a bid sponsor.)
All suggestions for new homes for a revised piece with more
bitterness in it gratefully received...
