might also try looking at the on-line BISS (Bibliografia Italiana di Sstoria
della Scienza) at the Istituto e Museo of Florence. There are a couple of ways to gt to it; the direct one is to go to the

The BISS has now about 13 years of compiled info on the history of
science (very broadly interpreted) in Italy.
