If you accept a world of competing organisations, a market-like world
where each organisation may set its own norms, then you have no external
moral norm by which the exisitence of the SS in that world may be
rejected. All you can do is point to the possibility of starting an
anti-racist or anti-facisst campaign organisation, and hope it will "gain
market share". You are free to chosse to live in such a world, on the
reasonable assumption that social democracy may improve it in the long
run. However, you are not free to impose it on others.
It is obvious that there are fundamental differnces about the nature of
the moral world, which the Greenpeace nomination merely shows up, rather
than being an important decision in itself.
