Just a thought, but in response to Paul Dilley's point that
"You must consider beat frequencies caused by artificial
light sources such as fluorescent lights" - therefore "It's
much safer to specify TFT".
If the student is using the computer at home in a room lit
by with a 100 watt incandescent light bulb, a
conventional and upto date monotitor won't be problem - or
is it still wise to be cautious?
