They will presumably work to Part M of the Building Regulations.
They will presumably have to get Planning Permission. Some Planning
Departments in local councils are submitting building plans to their local
access group. If access is not right, planning permission may not be given.
Access to Goods & Services , will in any case apply if members of the
public use the facility - conference delegates etc.
As an employer your College should make reasonable adjustments inthe
workplace for disabled people.
Best to get things right at the design stage rather than expenditure later.
