Dear Mr Metcalf,
May I submit the following appendix to the information about Fortran
Courses in your Information dated 23 october 1997.
The Computing Centre of Delft University of Technology organises courses
in computer programming in [C and] Fortran.
Since the old days this was Pascal and Fortran 66.
Since 1979 Fortran 77.
Since 1993 we have a course in Fortran 90.
This course exists in two forms:
1. Fortran 90 Elements for beginning programmers
2. Fortran 90 Upgrade for Fortran 77 progammers
We use an English book (Morgan & Schonfelder).
Course can be given in English, Dutch, French, German.
Special subjects on demand.
When people ask for a Fortran 77 course I try to convince them to take
Fortran 90, but if they insist ...
The Computing Centre can also give consultancy about transition to
Fortran 90.
