It seems going the direction of
Let C++ do all the control, and call FORTRAN for all
single-minded, well-defined, number-crunching, and
soon-to-be-done-by-other-languages-even-chips things.
It is not because C++ is good (although it may be) for the job.
It is almost the only thing pratical available.
I don't think Fortran 90 should be tied to FORTRAN's bandwagon.
C? never heard of it :-)
