Why, indeed, would someone post something that doesn't appeal _to you_?
My great fear is that you may be subjected to things that don't appeal
to you in other venues, too. I mean, the newspapers are probably loaded
with things that don't appeal to you. And television. You may even
meet people who don't appeal to you. What, I wonder, is to be done?
The words "open-mindedness" and "reasoned critique" (or, failing that,
"polite tolerance") come to mind . . .
