I seem to have expressed myself poorly. ALL I am saying is that as someone
without any great belief is that _religious poetry_ as a project has no
interest for me... If I find a poet doing good work whose subject matter is
religious, then ok; but that's something entirely different. The poets we
are talking about are poets I shall return to again and again should it
please my maker to grant me the time - I am *sure that their commitment is
a deep part of it
i dont want to conflate religion and poetry
your quote is spot on too - heard someone on the radio the other day saying
_well of course we are becoming more spiritual_ - isnt there a quoted
quoted somewhere that when people believe nothing then they will believe
anything
i am working on nothing - and hopefully NOT like the man jumping from the
top of the building here I am 49th year and no problems yet
