Dear Sandra Waller,
As a University teacher of contemporary poetry, I'd want access (& want my students to
have access) to a wider group of poets than those represented by individual collections from
Faber and Carcanet, though that is a start. A practical place to begin would be recent
anthologies such as the Allnut et al (eds) The New British Poetry (Paladin), Sinclair (ed)
Conductors of Chaos (Picador), Crozier (ed) A Various Art (Carcanet), Hulse et al The New
Poetry (Bloodaxe), France (ed) 60 women poets (Bloodaxe), O'Sullivan (ed) Out of
Everywhere (Reality Street Editions).
Thanks for asking,
Tony Lopez
