Mainstream announces the forthcoming publication of
_THE OCTOBER REVOLUTION IN POETRY_ by Johan de Wit
and invites you to its launch reading at:
Upstairs, The Victoria, Mornington Place, Mornington Crescent, London at
3.30 p.m. Saturday 27th September 1997
The launch reading is part of the Writers Forum Workshop for which there is
an admission charge of 50p
Johan de Wit will be launching other publications at the same time,
including a reprint of his RWC issue "No!
At present, _OUR EDUCATION IS POLITICAL: Eric Mottram interviewed by
Wolfgang Görtschacher_, _HI COWBOY_ by Fiona Templeton and _PERIODICAL
CONTESTS_ by Eric Mottram are out of print, but they are reprinting.
SURFACE BURSTS by Gilbert Adair is still in print.
It is hoped that all Mainstream booklets will be available on 27th
September 1997.
NB There will be no bookstall apart from Talus Editions at the SVP reading
by Fisher, Griffiths and MacSweeney on Friday 19th at SVP, Upstairs, The
Three Cups, Sandland St London WC1 Admission 5 pounds 2.50 unwaged. The
reading is put on in association with Talus Editions to launch a book by
and an anthology edited by Clive Bush and published by Talus.
There will be the normal bookstall on the following Tuesday 23rd September
- same venue - when Pierre Joris and Jerome Rothenberg read
and at subsequent events
