coming over the wall) reading yr fragmente piece this lunchtime & came
across the five types of discourse you cite (from Olson):
Physiology; Kinaesthesia; Proprioception; Psychology and projection; and
Place.
- a non-hierarchical list, as I take it. And going on:
the link of the self to its place
what self relates to in terms of internal organs
and what is projected.
I remember this is what first hit me from Olson when I first read him: the
integral-ness of self and place. No "click" detatchment here. The kind of
pastoral I want...
