It seems to me that this may be a problem of different generations. I
learnt about words through books, I no longer move my finger along the line
as I read, and my only physical contact is with the covers and the corners,
but I feel at home with the book .I feel much further from the computer
screen. For my three year old daughter there does not seem to be any
difference between a book and a screen, she happily draws with the mouse on
the screen or with the pen on the page. will it be different when she reads
and writes?
