- copyright hat here: all e-mail posts remain copyright to original
utterer, may not be quoted outside the context of the list without the
permission etc. So it's OK rupert & I writing all over people's mots
*within the context of the list* - but to publish it elsewhere - a no-no.
All material posted to the list is archived, and both list and archives
are publicly accessible.

- that's where the copyright point is important: even without a
copyright statement (and few e-lists have them) our utterances are ours,
and should not be used without permission.
All CH will be doing as regards this list will be providing an extra
access point.
