- well, I can imagine a good few of us are reeling. Not often
we see so penetrating (if I may) and coherent an assault on our 'national
identity'; since many of us, I'm sure, would eagerly attend to such an
assault - being fairminded enough to consider the perspective of a
non-British observer - this comes as an especial treat. I particularly
like, what was it now, "fick the dykes": this seems to get right to the
heart of the matter. What can we say but, thankyou, Orpheus. It's good
to have our stiff upper lips made supple from time to time, our snotty
noses blown for us.
