Apologies. _PMC_ has been changing it's access policies. It's a very
controversial decision. They are going under the umbrella of John Hopkins
MUSE project. (Intellectual property is virtual theft. Write to your
Congresswoman.) However, 'current' issues of PMC will still be accessible
free with full text at the site below.
http://www.iath.virginia.edu/pmc/
or http://jefferson.village.virginia.edu/pmc/ (a synonym I think)
So the following free full-text references should be substituted for the
jhp URLs which I gave previously:
For Gregory Ulmer's response to Michael Joyce's 'Twelve Blue' (including
some of his ideas on 'electracy'):
http://www.iath.virginia.edu/pmc/issue.997/ulmer.997.html
For Loss Glazier's essay:
http://www.iath.virginia.edu/pmc/issue.597/glazier/index.html
For David Caplan's review of the EPC and its others:
http://www.iath.virginia.edu/pmc/issue.997/review-7.997.html
The special 'hypertext' issue of _PMC_ (issue.597) has been left online at
this site for the time being, but if you are interested you should visit it
soon (still accessible today). However, you should read it in conjunction
with a (free-for-all-time) corresponding issue of the _electronic book
review_ http://www.altx.com/ebr/ebr5/contents.htm.
========
Before anyone picks me up on it/them:
- I intended 'actually existing' but smiled when I saw 'exiting'.
- and I know I railed against typos and plain-bad-editing; and I was
railing against *myself* (passim); and my point is that the treatment of
both authorial and editorial 'error' in this space is far more flexible,
forgiving and co-creative (thanks in part to this here speed, actually; and
the - potentially - more social character of the authorial/editorial
project).
- I was somewhat taken aback by the recent C4 documentary on those fake VG
Sunflowers holed up in a Japanese fire and insurance company with a name a
bit too similar to the Yasusada of recent hoax fame, or is this just
misediting again? Hence my interjection.
