Particularly egregious, but, to be generous, perhaps the blurb writer was
vaguely recalling Douglas Oliver's use of the terms "harm" and "harmless".
I've been struck by the resemblance between Pearl as a cipher, icon,
whatever, and D Oliver's emblematic Down's syndrome baby who appears in his
early poems and in _The Harmless Building_.
