- in the end, your choice is going to come down to what's in print
(several of the titles suggested aren't). Conductors, Out of Everywhere,
and Millenium are obvious favourites, T'other side of the century is
another, bit different, as is A TEST OF POETRY which I'd imagine to be
hard to get in quantity. PRICE is a big factor, if they're expected to
buy. In fact, the library should have all the forgoing. And then... you'll
soon have spent your allowance.
- the lack of a good book of writing on writing has been noted before on
this list, and should be a good proposal for a publisher, particularly if
it's to tie in with courses. I liked / am still mulling over the
possibility of a website which held reprints of key criticism of the
fragmente / parataxis / reality studios / poetry inf. kind. Won't be there
in time for your course, Robert...
