From my toe hold in the voluntary sector, I've been having difficulty
keeping my head above the rapid flow of messages from british poets,
especially as I was hit by a virys (?) in the fog and glumness of inner
London. A few messages:
1) The multitalented (see earlier e-mails) Harriet Tarlo will be
performing with me at Sub-Voicive on March 25. Brancepeth Beck, a new
sequence of poems by HT is available from The Other Press, 19 Marriott
Road, London N4 3QN at £3.50 inc post. It also contains drawings by
Julia Ball.
2) I am interested in the colloquium, Lawrence. Autumn sounds more
realistic.
3) I'm also interested in the Masss Observation project cris suggested.
Let's use the Internet for an assemblage. I'm not sure about the
absence of a meta-narrative (is this possible). One of the good things
about the original M.O. was the number of women involved (see the
Brighton archives).
Love, Frances
