Ric is right. Technological problem! Scott Milne just
posted me to say that, as I and others suspected, the
poem got messed up by the time it got to him, so
absolutely nil hard feelings.
By the way, a big influence on me is Johanna
Drucker, mentioned by Allen already on this list.
About four years ago, I enthusiastically obtained from
her good xerox copies of her #400 letterpress art
books, "The Word Made Flesh" and oooh can't remember,
one other, on the offer to distribute them samizdat,
and maybe get her an address list of people here
interested in her work. I think they're amazing,
check out plates in Marjorie Perloff's "Radical
Artifice" for excerpts. Anyone who wants a xerox
can pay me for the xerox and postage costs and have
one. Please e-mail me.
