I am preparing a State of the Dublin Core Document that has a deadline
of the middle of December. I hope to capture the consensus of the list
as it has been evolving, and I'll try and post my best understanding of
the element set early next week for discussion.

This document has much to speak for it, and I think it is an excellent
stake in the ground. I'm not willing to say 'speak now or forever hold
your peace' at this time. There's a lot in it, and it shouldn't
necessarily be accepted or rejected as a piece.
