Knowing the current state of our place, the list will
probably be a price-list! But unless these lists are
collectively searchable (Z39.50?) how will I know that it
is Bangor's list I need to search?

Strathclyde must be a delightfully organised institution!
It would be difficult to find any statement of duties for a
member of academic staff, other than an (undefined) amount
of teaching (unspecified), and "to carry out such research
as is relevant". So is the research relevant (to what?), or
is it a hobby?
I am employed to run the information service; who owns the
copyright to the chapter on the Welsh romance of Peredur
which I contributed to a book a few years ago? And since I
am not employed to do research, who will own the copyright
of the chapter I am writing for a book by David Baker? And
if the copyright to some things is mine, and the copyright
to other things the University's, is that really going to
make the situation easier or clearer?
