Clarity, I suppose... By including the link with each element, we
offer the general user EASY access to definitions and further
information relating to the DC element itself and any related schema.
If the DC link is only included once, we both assume that the reader
is reading CAREFULLY enough to spot it, and that they extrapolate
mentally from the single occurence under the first item of DC.*
metadata to all other occurences of DC.* metadata. There is also
scope for confusion where links to OTHER schema are also mixed
through the metadata...

At present, probably just for human consumption, but better use could
also be made of it by the machines...

Hmm... yes, there was some work on this back in the distant past
(about June, wasn't it? ;-) ), but it doesn't appear to have been
taken much further... If we've just about got the basics right, it's
probably time to revisit this area...

Tony's done this, as detailed in his reply... As to where it links, I
think some form of general DC 'homepage' is probably best (as it does
now), but perhaps we want to give some thought to increasing the
number of links off that page (but we certainly don't want to
overwhelm people by offering links to EVERYTHING we have done...).
It's certainly important, I think, that we all link to the SAME
page...!
