Electronic Journals is an activity area of the Electronic Libraries
Programme funded
by the Joint Information Systems Committee of the Higher Education
Funding Councils. Some of the Electronic Journal projects will be
reporting on their work
in a joint conference to be held during the Libtech International 96
event
at the University of Hertfordshire. Information scientists, subject
specialists and others from the library profession will be addressed
by staff from the electronic journals on developments
in the field of electronic scholarly publishing. A wide range of
subjects are covered
by the journals making it of interest to a broad range of librarians.
Date and Venue.

The conference will be held on Thursday, September 5, 1996 at the
University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield, Hertfordshire, UK.

Entry to the Libtech International exhibition is FREE but most
conferences and seminars held at Libtech require attendees to pay
a nominal registration fee in advance. The registration fee for the
Electronic Journal conference is 10 Pounds Sterling. No fee is
required from
eLib personnel.
