Hi all...
As mentioned in a previous message, I'm working on an implementation of
the Dublin Core/ Warwick Framework for the UK Archaeological Data Service
(http://www.ncl.ac.uk/~napm1/ads/metadata.html).
In this, I'm trying to include LINKs to the Dublin Core schema for each
element, as well as LINKs to definitions for any schema used. These links
to the schema, however, are playing hard to get, and here's where I need
some help.
Ideally, the LINK should be to an on-line definition of the scheme, but
paper will do if necessary.
The ones I need at the moment are schema definitions for Internet Media
Types, ISO 639, and whichever ISO document specifies their yyyy-mm-dd
date format.
What I've come up with is:
<LINK REL = SCHEMA.imt HREF =
"http://sunsite.auc.dk/RFC/rfc/rfc1521.html">
<LINK REL = SCHEMA.iso639 REFERENCE =
"ISO 639:1988 Code for the representation of names of languages">
<LINK REL = SCHEMA.iso31 REFERENCE =
"ISO 31-1:1992 Quantities & units -- Part 1: space & time">
Can anyone offer anything better (and is ISO 31-1 the right one?)
Thanks,
Paul
