EEVL, the Edinburgh Engineering Virtual Library, is
delighted to announce its first sponsored service, the...
OFFSHORE ENGINEERING INFORMATION INTERNET SERVICE.
EEVL is a Project to build a gateway for the higher education and research
community to engineering information on the Internet. This gateway will
become available later in the year, but in the meantime, in line with its
policy of encouraging the creation of new networked resources, EEVL has made
available on the Web the Offshore Engineering Information Internet Service.

The Offshore Engineering Information Internet Service consists of regularly
maintained files of:
* Forthcoming Offshore and Petroleum Engineering Meetings.
(from the current month up to 2001).
* Recent publications in Offshore and Petroleum Engineering.
(books, reports, conference proceedings, standards, legislation, etc).
* Cumulative Bibliography of Petroleum and Marine Technology
(details of over 2500 individual publications) - this Bibliography
is not published in any other form.
Almost 1 MB of files!
The Offshore Engineering Information Internet Service is completely free
to the UK higher education community, and is available to others
on a subscription basis.
Keywords: oil and gas exploration and production, offshore structures
and pipelines, subsea systems, offshore health and safety,
marine environmental protection, underwater operations,
diving and ROVs, resources of the seabed and renewable energy,
petroleum economics and engineering.
