The following post for a DESIRE Project Trainer and Materials Developer
has just been *re-advertised*.
This message is being posted to a number of email lists. Apologies if you
see this message more than once.
DESIRE is a European project aimed at improving the existing networked
information infrastructure (Web caching, security, indexing, etc.).
Partners include the ROADS group (Bristol, LUT and UKOLN) and other
European partners. Newcastle will coordinate the training side of the project.
The work involves production (and delivery) of traditional and web based
training materials on the use of these new network tools. This requires
liaison with the tool developers.
The ideal candidate would have both technical and training skills, but
there is the scope to rearrange workloads to accommodate, as necessary,
someone with a more technical bias or alternatively someone with training
and technical writing skills.

networked information environment. This sub-project will build on the work
of Netskills.
