I'd be rather worried if technologically naive policy makers in my
university were reading the book. It's extrememly optimistic and very
short on the implementation difficulties of the sometimes wonderful,
sometimes horrifying world he describes for us. "If it's not true now,
just wait a while" is an idea that comes up several times... but part
of that waiting represents feverish activity and possibly considerable
infrastructure spending. It's great for extending the mind, though.
