It is rather sad that were are being forced into "UK" versions for
a number of services because of the poor state of international
(actually, the UK seems the worst off in Europe) links.
I gather that a series of technical problems relating to power
supplies and the like are currently aflicting Sprint, who are
installing the 9 Mbps link to the USA. This Friday,
one more attempt to stabilise the service will be made.
Maybe this time, we will be lucky
I have found that the HENSA or SUNSITE proxies are so
unreliable (due to overload) that they currently do not offer
a viable alternative (we discovered a Swedish proxy that
works wonderfully to the USA!).
