networked information services of interest to biomedical researchers,

OMNI will be hosting a seminar for Volunteers on Friday 2nd August in
Edinburgh. If you are a practitioner, librarian, researcher, lecturer or
student interested in becoming involved in the OMNI project and contributing
descriptions of resources to the OMNI database, this seminar will be an
opportunity for you to find out how Internet resources are found, resource
descriptions created and quality issues addressed. The OMNI Team will be
delighted to hear your views on these issues too. The afternoon hands-on
session will enable you to get your first taste of creating resource
descriptions using the ROADS software.
