I would be wounded (not quite mortally, but almost) if you
were to take this the wrong way, but I was just wondering
if this is just a slogan or if you have won some kind of
award or, in some way, been judged to have been the best on
the Internet (which may not be saying a great deal, of course,
bearing in mind the average quality of tat on the net).
On the subject of meaningless slogans, I noticed today on
a piece of paper from Derbyshire County Council that their
slogan was: "We're Proud Of Derbyshire!"
-----
- with proud being underlined with a lovely flourish.
A more honest slogan might be "We're proud to be able to
screw the rate-payers for all their worth!"
- and I don't even live in Derbyshire.
