Its all due to a new NHSE ruling.
No doctors are allowed to die until the (non-existent) recruitment crisis is
over.
Exceptions can be made in urgent cases, but all requests have to be submitted
in triplicate to the Department of Health using new forms to be released at a
much later date.

Perhaps the deceased are being recruited to fill the gaps left by the
lack of Trainees.
Or are being left on Practice Lists to be offered Health Checks for
the over 75s sometime in the future
Or part of a top secret Drug company and Goverment Trial aimed at
keeping the Conservative Party alive at the next election
