David, by ASA do you mean the Advertising Standards poeple? This sparked
a memory - last week's BMJ had a News piece about dodgy advertising on
the Internet. ASA were quoted, I think to the effect that they can do
nothing about foreign-based adverts. Might be worth reading the piece -
it's on the BMJ home page.
