I've done a further rearrangement of my search on hayfever/allergic
rhinitis-pollens .
It looks as though these patients (977 of them) receive a steady, low
level of antihistamine prescriptions , with an increase in the months
when kenalog was prescribed.

There _are_ limits to this type of search - without MIQUEST I have no
idea how many of these patients have had more than one kenalog injection
- although we do try to discourage multiple injections in the same
year..
Any ideas? I know quite a lot of our patients have topical therapy -
nasal spray +/- otrovin/antistan or opticrom eye drops..
*Is* this worth persuing - or shall I chase this as a practice audit? I
must say, I'm beginning to wonder about the management of hayfever in my
practice..
