The papers are now saying that she got her tablets from the high street
retail chemist. The script for which she paid the usual #5.50 prescription
charge, was worth #30. My friendly pharmacist tells me this is 100
clomiphene! If this is what she had then she had several months supply at one
go and/or a large dose. If it was an NHS script, why did her GP give it to
her (assuming that she started off in the private sector). We decline to give
scripts for any treatment from private clinics or even NHS fertility clinics.
This sort of problem being the main reason. Does anyone precribe
clomiphene/other infertility treatments.
