Sadly this is _not_ what we are being asked to do ....
We are being asked to comment on the psychiatric history and
give some sort of assessment of the suitability of the
applicant.
Even if they make it part of Terms of Service I shall not be
doing this, just as I did not sign shot-gun licences even
pre-Dunblane.
Best suggestion I have heard is that GPs should give a
factual report akin to the Insurance medical reports that we
know well, and then police surgeons should adjudicate on this
and other info that can be accumulated.
