Personally, as one who has a three hour lunchbreak today, and is about to
go fishing before afternoon surgery (which I manage quite often), I can't
see anything wrong with general practice in the co-op era. Now if they
would double my salary, pay for my car and for my holidays, then I might
be tempted. So I say being a GP is OK.
My view is that if you organise it right, get good staff in and indulge
in a bit of time management, it is a demanding but rewarding job.
So there.
