Maybe there's some sense in this...
I was just reading in the Independent about the Dvorak keyboard layout
- a more rational alternative to QWERTY with commonly used letters,
including all the vowels, on the home keys. Apparently most typists
are much faster once they've learnt it. The US Navy did a trial but
it never caught on. Windows 95 (and the Mac I understand) have
options to change to this layout - all you have to do is relabel your
keys......
