This sounds a little similar to a scheme drawn up for Kent in which
ex-trainees (ooops... registrars) take a salaried position with two days
a week in two differing practices and a day or half-day's educational
activity. The aim is to attract into the area a number of individuals
who might be tempted to stay on afterwards by joining practices as
principals, in view of the major recruitment problems locally (&
nationally).
The terms sound quite attractive with a fixed number of hours per week
and no on-call I think.
