I'm afraid you can only use Windows Messaging for collecting mail from MSN. No
other mail program will work. It is rumoured that MSN will change it's mailing
system in March 97, and will then be compatable with other mail agents (eg
Free Agent). Until that happens, you are stuck with Windows Messaging.
However, I think Windows Messaging can handle MIME.
Does this message look OK? I have deliberately used long lines of text, and
have sent
this using Windows Messaging.
The problem may not be on your side :-)

Hi James
Thanks for your help but is it applicable when I am using Windows Messaging
for mail and Microsoft Network as my ISP?
I don't think so but am happy to stand corrected!
Merry Christmas

The lines you refer to use MIME character encoding. Your email reader
is obviously not MIME capable..
If you're using a PC there's really no excuse as there are loads of
brilliant MIME capable mail/news readers (I recommend Agent). I'm
sure someone will give you a free alternative (Agent costs $29).
Best wishes
James
