Quite right too. On the other hand, the more you know, and the more
you can back it up with evidence, the less you risk your patient being
exposed to unnecessary and repetitive procedures in hospital. I've
done a search on PSA and I'll try to get the papers later this week
(only about 10 relevant ones from 1992 on Medline and only 2-3 of
those look useful to us, so it's mainly a matter of when I can get to
the library), and post back.
