The solution offered by many recently has been to reduce
workload/committment (and accept pay cut) in order to
reclaim job satisfaction and "do the job properly".
Will anyone out there admit to earning pots of cash and
not doing very much either? If so, what's the secret?
hehehe - if anyone had worked out this one, I'll bet they
wouldn't be saying how in this forum. Or they might, but
only after charging a 1000 UKP consultancy fee :)
A few years ago, one of the trainees on the day release
course I attended worked in a practice where the two
senior partners (out of six) spent 3.75 and 6 hours
respectively per week face-to-face with patients in normal
surgeries. Nice work (at greater than average net intended
remuneration) if you can get it.
