Clearly not. No excuse, but my guess is that something dysfunctional is
happening within the practice, and would recommend a complaint to the
practice manager or the partner who was "nice". This can then act as a
focus for addressing those concerns, and might very well be welcomed by
those who want to correct the dysfunction.
Morale is low in General Practice, but recent changes in bureaucracy and
OOH hopefully will start to reverse this situation, and political
changes in the next few months may be similarly envigorating!
