We have been members of a Co-Op for several years and this system
evolved after much debate and trial and error. We are 5 partners on an
equally shared rota.
Night visits done by the Co-OP are paid by the practice and the night
visit fees kept by the practice. Roughly 20UKP in and out.
Before 10pm each partner pays for the visits on his or her rota
Evenings/Weekends. Cash earned from the Co-Op is set against the
partners Co-Op debt. At the end of the year the accountant is told how
much to debit the current accounts of each partner in effect alter the
annual profit.
A running total is kept monthly so people are aware if they are going
heavily negative and want to offer more shifts for the Co-Op. This has
been made much easier by the itemised billing produces by the computer.
Thanks Adastra.
