What does everyone do for problems with 'straightforward' superficial phlebitis, by which I mean a well-demarcated length of, for example, the long saphenous, with marked inflammation, redness, tenderness etc.?
Everyone seems to have their own ideas, from NSAIDs, to antibiotics, low dose heparin and support hose (ouch). Any offers?
