Some years ago I decided (after seeing an Air Hostess with severe tubal
pain after ascending and descending that she was suffering from
altitude-related pressurising and de-pressurising effects within the tubal
lumen.
Can't say I have seen too many others with the same problem in the last 10
years, but the theory still seems reasonable.....
