Hi Peter

your .kbd file?
I am just used to Procomm for faxing, using scripts to automate logons etc
so I didn't attempt to get to grips with Kermit. We don't have much dealing
with Kermit in the surgery either as the server is part of a network so all
the connections are via network cards. I have attached the Keyboard file I
use though I'm sure there are still refinements to be made. In Procomm in
Setup/Terminal Options I created another setting called EMIS which is the
same as VT100 except the keyboard file is the emis one. This Terminal
Option can be assigned to your surgery phone number in the dialing
directory.

I use the PROCOMM setting or else I dont get the lines of boxes. I cannot
comment on Mentor as it has not been possible to install this on a
networked system until now. I'm told it being sent to us as I write but I
shan't hold my breath. I'm hoping to use the GUI version of mentor to
utiliise the network capabilities. We are a small surgery and find Windows
for Workgroups sufficient at the present. We use the messaging, e-Mail, and
I'm just putting in an Intranet on practice guidelines, notes for new
registrars, audits, staff details etc.
