BTW..(a propos of nothing)...I have been using the rigid job for 20
years in my practice, but I have to confess to a fair number of failures
to reach the upper rectum on occasions.. let alone the recto-sigmoid
junction. The reason for not going to the flexible type.. apart from
cost.. was the implications for cleaning. I was eventually pesuaded
against setting myself up as a provider because of the financial,
organisational, and legal difficulties...
nevertheless I would still like to be able to do this... has anyone else
had experience of using flexisigs in the GP surgery?
